| AMVETs POST #77 of New Jersey was officially chartered in Gloucester County on October 23, 1977 with 34 Veterans. They met for post meetings in Pitman, Mantua, Sewell and Wenonah. After receiving an acre of ground in Deptford Township, the organization had grown to over 170 members. The AMVETs are grateful for the additional acre of ground given by Mantua Township. The M60-A3 Military Tank is the beginning or the Memorial Park. On May 19, 2001 The post was named Staff/Sgt. Theodore Feldman Memorial Post. On October 12, 2002 the first Anna Bomze scholarship was awarded to Cathy J. Ruff, grad daughter of Post Member Daniel and grand niece of William Ruff. |
