Proposals Forwarded through the Mail Must contain the following statement on the envelope: “THIS IS A SEALED PROPOSAL AND SHALL NOT BE OPENED AND READ UNTIL WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2007 AT 10 A.M. BY THE MUNICIPAL CLERK OR HIS DESIGNEE.” The Township will not assume responsibility for proposals not delivered in person to the Municipal Clerk. Please submit twelve (12) RFP copies. Receipt of Proposals All proposals must be received before or at the time and date specified in the Notice for Qualifications for Professional Services. No proposals will be received after the specified time. Reservations The Township Committee of the Township of Mantua reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, to request resubmissions, and to award proposals as the Township Committee deems will best serve the interest of the Township of Mantua. NOTICE FOR THE SOLICITATION OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES UNDER A FAIR AND OPEN PROCESS Notice is hereby given that sealed qualifications for professional services, not subjected to bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, will be received by the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Mantua at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2007. The sealed qualifications will be opened and recorded at the Municipal Building, 401 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey 08051 on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 10 a.m., by the Municipal Clerk. Qualifications for the following professional services will be accepted: Township Solicitor Township Auditor Township Bond Counsel Township Engineer Township Planner Rick Management Coordinator Zoning Board of Adjustment Solicitor Planning Board Solicitor Planning Board Engineer Planning Board Planner Zoning Board of Adjustment Engineer Zoning Board of Adjustment Planner Administrative Agent for the Administration of Affordable Units Each submission to be considered shall comport to the criteria set forth in the qualifications packets and found in the Code of the Township of Mantua. The qualifications packets may be obtained in the Office of the Municipal Clerk. The Municipal Appointing Authority shall thereafter publicly select the professional or business entity for the position so advertised which shall thereafter be confirmed or approved as required by law, Resolution or Ordinance. Each submission to be considered shall list the designated person who will be responsible for handling the account for the firm filing the RFP with the Township of Mantua.
