The Mantua Township Museum, located in the Norris Street School Building, Opened on June 12, 2010. This facility was used to educate students until 1940. The Museum will be open the first Monday of each month from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon. When the Senior Center is open, Wayne Histand will be available to open the Museum as needed. Appointments can be made for other openings by calling Glenn Lore at 468-3277 or Dolores Allen at 468-1469. Donations or Loans of old pictures of Mantua Township or its residents, or other artifacts will be accepted. Over a hundred local Family Genealogies are available for review and people can receive guidance in searching their family trees. Our Goal is to preserve the History of the Township, its Family's and artifacts for future Generations. Mantua Township Historical Committee
