Gloucester County & Mantua Township Officials have been working for 5 years on the 126 acre land acquisition of the Kadin tract on the Corner of Jackson & Heritage Roads. At a ceremony held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 Freeholder Director Stephen Sweeney and Freeholder Deputy Director Bob Damminger handed the deed to the land to Township Committeeman Pete Scirrotto and Committeewoman Sharon Lawrence. The property will be named the Barnett & Edythe S. Kadin Park after members of the Kadin Family and will be used for recreation by Mantua Township.
