MANTUA TOWNSHIP ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT The Mantua Township Economic Development Committee (MTEDC) is actively pursuing revitalization for our community, seeking business landowners and residents participation. To initiate this revitalization effort the MTEDC will be applying for State and Federal grants on behalf of the Township. The MTEDC has been encouraging interested entrepreneurs and developers to consider starting, relocating and/or expanding their businesses in our community by providing them with a copy of our Site Inventory Listing. This one of a kind document is a list of available buildings/land that are commercial or industrial and are for sale or for lease within our community. If you have a site that you would like to include please feel free to contact us. The MTEDC has prepared the “Welcome to Mantua” packets for all new residents that have moved into the Township. This packet includes numerous informational sheets and brochures on services that are provided throughout our Township. The Business Directory that the MTEDC has prepared is also enclosed in the Welcome to Mantua packets to encourage residents to patronize our community establishments. The MTEDC is aggressively pursuing brownfield redevelopment programs for several sites in our Township. The Township has been nationally recognized by the National Brownfield Association to pilot a project for a local site within the Township.
MANTUA TOWNSHIP ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE This volunteer committee is made up of representatives from local businesses, civic organizations and residents in our community. Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the MUA Meeting Room.
